I can say that the ati catalyst driver suit fuck me up I have a clean install of windows 2003 sp2 32-bit with 2010 feb directx redist
the driver installation says that "Install Package Failure"
wtf ?!
then I use the old school / traditional method, install it in devmgmt.msc by selecting the folder
the south bridge driver, display driver, SM bus driver, realtek sound driver, 8111C driver
but it is not all
the ati hdmi audio driver is not in the catalyst suit
I search ati / amd web for support and download, and I got hundreds of threads or results and it is messy and not helpful
lastly I hit "ati hdmi driver" in google's box, I got it in the top search and get everything done !!!
and forget the Catalyst control center (CCC), use ati tray tools
no .NET no fuss
