after TWO reboots to upgrade from 7.0.0 workstation
is it too many ?
vmware wont delete the line for "scsi - yes" setting in the vmx configuration file for 64-bit guest , and said it is not supported, OMG , what's going on
then the guest cannot power on , why don't let me go on ??????!
in this case, I need to do it manually in the vmx file
and also the ethernet adapter , I need to add a line ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000" in the vmx file for my guest
since there is no 64-bit driver for AMD PCNet adapter
why not there is a gui for this or done automatically ...... mmmm , it's stupid
at last , in linux guest before installing vmware tools (gparted-live for example)
mouse cursor is inaccurate, I can't click anything to control my guest !!!
