played around synology ds209 , and finding some live cd to make a system like synology
currently as I know, it is slampp and superb mini server
both should be used on a system with 1GB memory
otherwise , it is too slow and make no sense for building such server
slampp 2.0.2:
auto mount your harddisks
port 10000 , 20000 for admin , webmin installed , root:slampp
sftp , root:slampp
CVS server
sms 1.5.2:
boot first harddisk is the boot options (weird , :-< , remove harddisk boot entry in iso's /boot/sms.cfg )
no auto mount (I need auto mount !!)
name server as defualt (make the machine sms )
port 10000 for admin , webmin installed , admin:admin
TorrentFlux preinstalled , admin:admin
sftp , root:toor
openvpn (good) , LDAP server/client , hylafax, Dynamic DNS provider ( great stuff ) , clamA
* use 'mount.ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1' instead of the 'add mount' in webmin to get your drive RW
alike stuff : bind , dhcp , apache , php , perl , mysql , sendmail , fetchmail , samba , ssh , squid proxy server
