my experience on directx installation error

dxerror.log or directx.log not showing helpful information, saying unable to load dll
also MPC-HC failed to launch and CPU-Z shows SSE is not available
I filed a bug in MPC-HC tracker, and I wonder if the MPC-HC compiled with wrong CPU type

and finally I noticed it is related to the SSE not being enabled on bios, because of a buggy bios
my mainbroad is K7S5A with AMD 1800+
I fix it by flashing a mod bios from http://www.lejabeach.com/ECS/ez.html
